This is a short, plain-English description of how Airwalle handles your personal data. It is written to align with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Dutch Uitvoeringswet AVG. Any question about it is welcome at [email protected].
Airwalle is published by the editorial desk of Airwalle, registered at Kingsfordweg 151, 1043 GR Amsterdam, The Netherlands, KvK 84 712 559. The data controller for any personal information you share with us is the editor-in-chief.
The legal basis for processing reader-letter data is your explicit request for a reply (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For Friday-note subscriptions, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by entering your e-mail address. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying with the word “stop”.
The website uses two kinds of cookie: a first-party preference cookie that remembers your choice on the cookie banner, and an optional anonymous analytics cookie that helps us understand which pages are read most. You can decline the analytics cookie on the banner; the website works identically without it.
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected, to ask for it to be deleted, and to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). We respond to data-subject requests within two working days. Write to [email protected] from the e-mail address concerned.
Our servers are located in the European Economic Area (the Netherlands). Friday-note e-mails are sent from those same servers; we do not use third-party mailing platforms.
For any question about this policy, write to [email protected] or by post to the address in the footer.
